Just like a regular yoga practice, Healthy Aging increases body awareness, improve circulation, lower blood pressure and reduce inflammation. This is a wonderful class for people have trouble getting up and down off the floor. I will show you modified poses which makes practicing accessible to people who have chronic pain, lack mobility or are unable to move easily supporting your bodies aging process. Classes helps maintain a healthy skeleton an supporting joints strengthens posture/core muscles, and improves balance great tool for healthy aging. Healthy Aging classes typically target those with physical disabilities or aging men and women who find a typical yoga session a little too challenging.
