Designed for the beginner, active seniors, or perhaps someone coming off injury and trying to get back in the flow. I slow it down teaching you the basic, providing the building blocks to create a strong practice. Allow your body to be supported in longer holding poses using props if needed to aid in stretching of the muscles. Practicing only half the number of poses you might practice in your typically flow class, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath. giving the body a more resting flow with an emphasis on conscious breathing and how import it is for your health. While practicing you will become more aware of your body and understand how to maximize poses to benefit your practice you will find the confidence, flexibility and strength to push your basic class to the next level. In this both active and restorative class students will find a relaxed pace that provides setting for those who are stressed out, weakened or fatigued bringing balance to your energy and calmness to the mind.
